Ingredients

  • To prepare the dough:‎
  • ‎1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ‎1 tsp instant yeast‎
  • ‎½ tbsp semolina‎
  • ‎½ tbsp powdered milk‎
  • ‎¼ cup vegetable oil‎
  • ‎1 cup water‎
  • ‎½ tbsp sugar‎
  • ‎¼ tsp salt‎
  • To serve:‎
  • ‎2 cups ready-made thick cream ‎
  • ‎¼ cup finely crushed pistachios‎
  • ‎1 cup ready-made sugar syrup

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine flour, semolina, yeast, powdered milk, sugar and salt.‎

Add water and oil. Using an electric mixer, mix ingredients until combined. Cover and leave aside for 30 ‎minutes to rest.‎

Preheat a nonstick pan over medium heat. Pour about ¼ cup of the batter in the pan and wait until the ‎bottom of dough browns and the surface dries. ‎

Remove from pan and repeat the same process until the quantities are finished. Cover the dough with ‎a towel to keep it moist.‎

When serving, stuff each dough with some thick cream and decorate with pistachio. Serve with sugar ‎syrup.‎
