While cleaning your non-stick pans might seem a piece of cake, you should know that they need care just as much as any other kitchen appliance. This is why we gathered some cleaning hacks to remember in order to prolong your cookware’s life.
Upon the purchase of non-stick pots and pans, always make sure to remove any packaging materials, labels, stickers and tags; wash with warm water and soap then rinse and dry using a soft towel; heat the pan for 30 seconds over low heat then rub with some cooking oil using a paper tissue or a soft towel. Now your pots and pans ready to be stored!
After each use of your Simplicity pots and pans, wash the inner and outer coatings with hot water, liquid soap and a sponge. Avoid using any harsh material on your pans to avoid damaging the surface. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Before storing, remember to coat them with some vegetable oil and remove any excess.
Not all non-stick pans are dishwasher safe. Before using the dishwasher make sure to read the instructions available inside the manual. Even if the pan is dishwasher safe, try as much as you can to clean your non-stick pans manually in order to extend their life.
