One of the easiest ways to cook corn on cob is to grill it and serve it with some salted butter, cumin and black pepper. Use the manual setting in your Optigrill + electrical grill to cook the cobs slowly and perfectly.
After you husk the corn and rinse it, boil it in a pot or pressure cooker with a generous amount of water until it’s perfectly cooked. Here’s an extra tip: if you’re preparing sweet corn, add a tablespoon of sugar to the water once it boils.
Put the corn with the husk it in the microwave for 3-4 minutes. Yes, you can microwave corn! However, you can’t cook more than one cob at the time so you might want to practice this method for individual meals.
Without husking your corn cobs, preheat the oven to 175 ⁰C and then roast them for 25 minutes until they become tender and ready to eat. Brush with butter and season with salt, cumin and black pepper when they’re done.
