So your mother in law is in the mood for fish over lunch and she invited herself over. She said she’ll be there in few minutes. You’re faced with no time at all, and you’re desperately trying to find a solution to your problem. Luckily, there are some of the most delicious fish dishes you can prepare in 15 minutes to impress all fish lovers!
A total of 15 minutes doesn’t leave you much time for preparation! Go for quick and easy variations. Try recipes based on salmon. These steaks are really easy to cook! Slice them into smaller pieces to speed up the process. And since it was your mother-in-law who gave you a non-stick set of pots and pans last Ramadan, why not use that? Stir-fry your salmon steaks in a little olive oil with some finely sliced vegetables or fresh baby spinach leaves.
If you have an electric grill such as Optigrill + or a plancha, here’s a brilliant idea: grill some fish kebabs! Marinate your fish chunks with a mixture of olive oil, lemon and dill, then grill and serve with savory rice. And if you’re really tight in matter of time, why not go raw – if the fish is fresh of course! – Slice your salmon into thin strips and store in the fridge until it’s time to eat. Then, serve over crushed ice alongside a sauce made of olive oil, lemon and fresh, chopped coriander. Yumminess guaranteed!
